This April, we gather to mark the 25th Anniversary of Michael Murphy’s untimely passing. The young hurler’s tragic death sparked the club and community into action and the result - The Michael Murphy Memorial Sportlánn is his fitting legacy.

We also celebrate new growth and development:
1) We will showcase the recently opened new 20 x 40 floodlit Astro and ball wall extension.
2) Outside in the existing stand, which was part of the Michael Murphy Memorial Sportlánn Development, we have installed a new 200 seated area with a redeveloped terrace and full wheelchair access. The stand is to be renamed after the late, great and sadly missed Jackie O’Gorman, Cratloe’s most famous hurler, star of the 1970’s Clare and Munster Hurling teams and beloved member of the field development committee in his latter years.
3) We will unveil plans for the next exciting stage for Cratloe GAA; the development of a second full size playing field.

For decades, Páirc Michéal Ó hÉithir has been more than just club grounds — it’s been a meeting place, a second home, and the backdrop to countless memories made with family and friends. Now it’s time to come together again and celebrate the next chapter.
